2025 Season Prospectus
Glen Waverley Soccer Club (GWSC) is a community club which offers a range of soccer programs and teams for both male and female players.
The club is proud of the opportunities it provides boys and girls of all backgrounds, cultures and abilities to participate in a team sport they enjoy in a friendly and supportive atmosphere. We pride ourselves on having a high retention of players which has contributed to the strong membership growth in recent years.
Our membership fees are amongst the lowest in the region providing maximum opportunities for young people in our area to play the game.
As a community club we seek and encourage the support of parents and their families which helps contribute to keeping our costs low and affordable to all families. This involves voluntary support on the club’s committee and sub-committees, coaching, helping with game day duties such as setting up grounds or helping as a team manager. This ongoing support is appreciated and a required element for families interested in joining our community club.
Below is the summary of the intended GWSC Teams for 2025. The summary below is based on Teams fielded in past seasons and is subject to players returning, trials, and availability of coaches.
U8’s and up play matches against other clubs in a scheduled ‘Home and Away’ game format conducted by the Football Federation of Victoria (FFV).
U8 - U11 matches are played on Saturday and all remaining age groups play on Sunday. Most of our age group league matches are scheduled against teams in the South East or East Melbourne metropolitan area. The schedule of the matches is provided by the FFV based on the number of teams and availability of club grounds and is subject to change at FFV's discretion
Fees for the 2025 Season will be provided in the near future and will be confirmed once again in the 2025 Player offer emails after the trials.
